While Joseph and Lulu had been together for more than a decade, they decided to get married on just a few weeks notice for two reasons. Lulu’s mother’s failing health, and their upcoming dating anniversary, which happened to be Easter Sunday. They flew to Boulder, where they held their ceremony at Frasier Meadows, the retirement community where Lulu’s mother resides. I was of course more than on board to capture this emotional and oh-so meaningful day. The reception followed at the beautiful Dushanbe Teahouse.
