I met Dave and Maggie two years ago when we shot their engagement session. Never did we imagine it would take SO LONG for their dream wedding to happen! Thanks COVID! But, it was truly a picture-perfect day at Allenspark’s Wild Basin Lodge (which is near Estes park, for those unfamiliar). And the most amazing thing happened … they had plenty of time to create the most thoughtful and sentimental details. Maggie’s mother and grandmother wore her wedding dress, and she had it recreated by The Wedding Seamstress into this gorgeous gown which was so perfectly modern and perfectly Maggie. Dave had Maggie’s rings made from family heirlooms, and he even forged his own ring. The list goes on and on. The day was full of so much laughter and lots of happy tears. It was a fantastic celebration of their love and a beautiful reason for friends and family to gather after so much time apart.
