Eileen and Ben met at a film festival which my lovely friend Laura was attending with Eileen. Ben turned around to say hello to Laura, and was instantly smitten with Eileen, who is absolutely gorgeous, as you’ll see below! Their friendship grew into a relationship, which blossomed into a family when they added Jax the dog, and now they’ve gotten married, with Laura as their officiant! It really came full circle for me since I shot Laura’s wedding to her husband Ashton a few years ago. It was so fun to see them all and reconnect on this beautiful fall day of celebration. Cheers to many years of happiness for this beautiful couple!

We started with a first look for both Ben and Jax to see Eileen in her gorgeous Maggie Sottero dress, at Chautauqua Park.
Next we drove up Flagstaff Mountain to Halfway House for the wedding itself, which was a lovely and intimate ceremony. Ben built the trellis himself, to mimic the shape of the mountain beyond. It was stunning. And A Florae provided the gorgeous flowers to adorn it.
Next we stopped back at Chautauqua for some portraits of the newlyweds…
And we made a two-minute stop at Boulder Creek as well because we couldn’t resist!
And finally, off to Riverside for a taco party with friends and family!
