Britney and Scotty contacted me from their home state of Texas, hoping for a winter elopement in the mountains near Boulder. They found a fabulous AirBnB called the Dory Lake Chalet and scheduled for mid-March, knowing it’s the snowiest month in Colorado. What they didn’t know was that their elopement would fall at the beginning of one of the biggest snowstorms to hit that area in decades! The snow had just started when Annah and I arrived, and it didn’t stop until 3-4 feet later. Yes, I said feet 😉 Annah and I got out of there just in time, but Scotty, Britney and Britney’s sister Brooks were trapped for a little longer than they expected. Be careful what you wish for!
